BEC – Business English Certificate

The BEC, Business English Certificate, is the Cambridge exam which certifies the level of skills in Business English. It is highly recommended for candidates (aged 16 and over) who are planning to pursue their career in business or who already work in a business environment.

There are 3 levels:

BEC PRELIMINARY

• Reading and Writing: 1 hour 30 minutes
• Listening: 40 minutes
• Speaking: 12 minutes

BEC VANTAGE

(equivalent to the FCE)

• Reading: 1 hour
• Writing: 45 minutes
• Listening: 40 minutes
• Speaking: 14 minutes

BEC HIGHER

(equivalent to the CAE)

• Reading: 1 hour
• Writing: 1 hour 10 minutes
• Listening: 40 minutes
• Speaking: 16 minutes

The PREPARATION COURSE

For this exam, we offer an individual preparatory course with a specialized BEC teacher. The method comprises of between 6 and 12 hours of individual classes in addition to your personal study time.
